Neoprene Sponge Gaskets
A.J. Rubber & Sponge Ltd.'s neoprene sponge gaskets and seals are comprised from a closed-cell material that falls within a family of synthetic rubbers. We die cut, kiss die cut and apply PSA (pressure sensitive adhesive) to our neoprene sponge gaskets and seals, which possess a variety of beneficial features, including:
- Temperature operating ranges of -56.7°C to 93.3°C (-70° F to + 200° F)
- Useful over a vast array of temperatures and suitable for use in conditions that are under enormous pressure
- Superior heat resistance (ideal for applications with extremely high temperatures over long periods of time)
- Suited for long term outdoor applications such as electrical enclosures or weather stripping
- Ozone, ultraviolet light and sunlight resistant, as well as to many other weather elements
- Resists the effects of both natural and synthetic oils and other volatile chemicals including but not limited to acid and gasoline
- Resistant to tears or damage caused by flexing and/or twisting, and burning (much better than rubbers that are composed of exclusively hydrocarbon chains)
